Hi, my name is Alyson Borowczyk, and I’m a wife, mom, and entrepreneur (I’ve owned Alyson Kelly Design since 2019). I was inspired to start Evolving Mompreneur as a result of my own journey, diligently struggling to balance business ownership and motherhood, and feeling pretty alone in the process.

In 2022, the year my business hit the 6 figure revenue mark, I noticed my mental health beginning to fade. I was constantly attached to my phone, putting out fires and tearing my hair out, never able to feel completely at peace. I was also increasingly less present for my son, which was the whole reason I started my business in the first place.

After a true come-to-Jesus moment at the end of 2023, I decided to take a break from my business for awhile. It was a huge risk, but one I absolutely needed to take. I knew that if I was going to continue down this path that I drastically needed to retool my business so it revolved around my role as a mom, and not the other way around.

Once I was starting to feel like myself again in early 2024, I was yearning for a way to build authentic community so that other women wouldn’t feel like I did.
